Can you see the Isle of Wight?
As the jubilee bank holiday drifts off into our memories, those who attended St Helens Cricket Club’s event on Tuesday 05 June 2012 at the St Helen’s cricket ground in Southsea, will have more to remember than most. Battlefield South were there to help the event go with a bang, and as most of the activities were rained off Battlefield South battled on into the evening. It has to be said that due to the rain things did not go as they had been planned, and many spectators chose the dry and relatively un wind battered (if not on occasion very loud) protection of the administration tent.
All in all despite the wind and rain everyone seemed to have had a great time, which only added to our stance of if you don’t mind the weather, neither do we, and so long as you are having fun so are we!
