The weather has not been very good to us for a while, but fear not as we have still been busy behind the scenes. We have lots of new public events which we will be attending, and will be telling you about them as they are approaching. So remember to keep checking our web site for details.
Our next event is at the Summer Fair and Dog Show at Castle Fields, Southsea on Sunday 09 June 2013. That’s only two weekends away so book it into your diary, mark it on your calendar. Proceeds of the event all go to charity, so come on down. Full details are to follow, including timings.

Don’t Forget The Brickworks

We hope you are all looking forward to a lovely day at Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum tomorrow, as we certainly are. With cars and motorbikes on show. Brookfield School Jazz band, lots of arts and crafts inside, the miniature railway and not forgetting us Battlefield South. It has the makings of a great day, with lots of fun for the whole family. So don’t let the slim chance of rain stop you. Come down have a walk round and have a quick game. We may even remember to take some photos!

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who attended the St Mary’s Church and Community Fayre on Monday 6th May 2013, in Fratton, Portsmouth, and also a very big thank you to all the organisers for such a great day. The guys and I had so much fun that we didn’t get round to taking any photos for the gallery, (Big mistake, there will have to be words!).
That said we had several people enter our “Be the face of Battlefield South” competition which was very nice and some very good entrants they were. We did have one person who entered but failed to stay for a photo, so if that was you please email us with the photo! Additionally, if you took a photo of your child, mum, dad in the kit please feel free to email us with the photo and your contact details and we will be happy to enter you.

Will you be there?

With just two days to go before the annual Community Fayre at St Mary’s Church, Fratton, Portsmouth, the countdown is well under way. Will you be there? It looks like it could be a scorcher, and will surely be a fun fun fun packed day!
The fayre opens at 10 am and closes at 4pm with lots of attractions and stalls its fun for the whole family.
