Did you miss us? Having had last weekend off last week we have a fun packed one this weekend. Starting on Saturday (this is an unusual one for us as we have never been to an event for a Rabbit rescue before), we will be at the South Coast Rabbit rescue Fun day and Dog show. We are still awaiting the final details, However it starts at 10 am in Five Heads Road, Horndean, PO8 9NZ where there is plenty of parking. Entrance is free but dogs are £1. As usual there will be all sorts of craft stall, food and beverage, face painting, inflatables, a Dog Show, and fun fair rides, as well as horse rids, and much much more. The day ends at 5 pm but don’t leave it to the last minute, and come along and have some fun.
Then on Sunday it is back to a normal Family Fun day. This one is an old favourite of ours at Hamworthy Club, Magna Road, Clanford. As usual it opens at 11am and closes at 4pm, with live music, (hopefully ) a pizza trailer, and other food stalls, cold beer and wine ( for the ladies) from the bar, inflatables, and lots craft stalls. It really is a good afternoon out and as the weather is looking OK why not plan a trip down for some fun.

St Johns Ambulance Family Fun Day and BBQ

Yesterday was not the best weather to be out and about in. However it didn’t dampen the spirits of those who celebrated their birthdays with us. For Harry, his family and friends, we hope you had a great time with us.
Moving on to thoughts of next week end, it’s a party of a different sort. On Sunday 30 July we will be attending the St Johns Ambulance, Family Fun Day and BBQ. It is being held at the Worthies Sports and Social Club, Winchester SO23 7TF, (1 Loader Close, Kings Worthy, Winchester). There will be live music, food and beverages (including cold beer), craft stalls inflatable attractions and of course us Battlefield South. All proceeds go to help saving lives via the St Johns Ambulance organisation, so by just purchasing a burger or playing a game with us you will be helping to save lives. So other than just having a great day out what more reason do you need to come along. Starting at 12pm and closing at 6pm it is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
