What a busy nine months

Well it’s about time we sat down and let you all know what we have been doing over the last nine months, and haven’t we been busy!
The year started with a special birthday party in January. Yes January, the first of some very wet months that we had. The plan was to hold the party in the garden of The Silver Fern public House, however the skies opened the day prior to the event and it rained for three days.
On an inspection of the garden the next morning, it became clear that the ground was too wet , too slippery, and just too dangerous for the children attending.
However as the car park was relatively clear, and drained freely so never wanting to disappoint, we set up there. 
Unfortunately it rained on and off all day, so we and the children got a bit wet, but everyone had a great time.
Through February and March, we had several corporate events, which kept us on our toes and lead up to the start of the show and Fete season.
This year we have attended a record number (for us) of shows, and Fetes which has meant we have been able to assist more charities than normal (always a good thing). To name all of the events we have provided an attraction for this year would take far too long, however their number has included, Medina School Cosham, St Mary’s Church Fratton, Woodlands School, 
Harefield Southampton, The Fawley Armed Forces Day, at Gang Warily Recreation ground, Southsea Fete and Dog show, on Southsea Castle Field, 
Sholing Police Community day and of course the Warsash Festival and Forton Festival 2013.
So a big thank you to the organisers of all the events, for inviting us along and making us feel so welcome. We look forward to attending again and assisting you all with your fund raising and enjoyment next year.
We would also like to say a big thank you to all of you who attended the parties, corporate days and events, because without you there would be no event and no one to have fun, so thank you also.

What a day at Gang Warily

What a great day we had yesterday (13 August 2013) at the Gang Warily recreation ground Fawley. 
As a local community activity day we hosted over 30 kids, (and the adult organisers) throughout the day. Though I am not sure who enjoyed themselves the most everyone left with big smiles, and tried bodies.

Its this weekend

Don’t forget this Saturday 17 August is the Sholing Community Fun Day. Organised by the Bittern Police
station, and being held at the field off Sullivan Road, it is a fun day out for the whole family. Starting at 11:00 am there will be a BBQ, a story corner, Arts and Crafts, Bouncy Castles, Martial Arts displays in the main arena, Fire Trucks Kickz Football and of course Battlefield South will be there to add some spice to the day.
So why not come along, have a hot dog, and maybe a battle of two.

Two Dates for August

We hope you had as much fun as we did at the events we attended during July. If you did why not come to a couple of public events we are attending in August.
Firstly is a Community Fun Day at Sholing Recreation ground, Sulliavan Road Southampton on 17 August 2013. 
Where there will be lots of stalls, rides, and business showing off their products and job opportunities. Not forgetting we will be there. This event is sponsored by Hampshire police as a community fun day for all the family.
The second is the Forton Fest 
being held in Forton park, Gosport on 31 August. This is an annual local community event with lots of stalls, rides, Bands and fun for the whole family. Did I mention we would be there?
So place the date into you dairies and come to the events which should prove to be great days out.

This Saturday In Palmerston Park Southampton

Come and join us at Palmerston Park on Saturday 20th July for Southampton’s Fair and Dog Show 
. There will be lots of stalls and attractions, for the young and old alike. Including us Battlefield South there for your enjoyment and pleasure.
Also there are lots of categories for the dog show including Best junior handler, ( under 12) and best Senior Handler (over 12)
