The Warsash Festival 2015
Posted by Mark | Filed under News, Next events
The hot weather is here and after a very busy (all be it a tad sad) Armed Forces Day with the REME and their Farewell to the garrison at Bordon, we have a very new recruit to introduce. Joining us, just in time for the Warsash Festival on Saturday 4 July 2015, is Pte P Arty (known as parts to his friends). He is a bit shy, not very talkative, and not a little scary. Although I understand that is his war face. He will be on parade along with the rest of the team on Saturday as will hosts of other scarecrows from local businesses. If you look carefully you can even spot him and some of the others hanging around the village all ready for the big day. As always there will be something for the whole family, from crafts and cakes to pony rides inflatable’s and of course Battlefield South. So why not come along and join us at the Warsash Festival, on Strawberry Field. The event opens at 12:30 and finishes at 4:30 pm.

The doors open at 10 am and close at 4 pm, with a free Easter egg for the kids, bouncy rides, a mini shopping village Battlefield South is going to be there to help provide some of the additional entertainment, along with, craft stalls, and other attractions including having you photo taken with Spiderman and Frozen’s Elsa. So many events so few weekends

As we fast approach the end of January, we are now busy looking at events and booking dates for the forth coming show and fete season. As always it would appear that everyone wants to have their events on the same weekend, so as usual some are going to be disappointed, although if it is a two day event we do try to attend at least one day.
So if you have an event or a birthday coming up (Between April and September) please let us know as soon as possible. We would hate to disappoint you.
That said we are kicking off early in April, (5 April to be precise). We will be back at Highclere Castle for their annual Easter egg hunt. This is a great event, with lots of stalls and attractions, so if you are looking for something different to do on Easter Sunday, why not come along and have fun in the grounds of Highclere (Downton Abby) Castle. You could even get some free chocolate!

It is time to say farewell to 2014 and what a year it has been, with the loss of some old friends and events along with the welcoming of new faces and new events. There has been a wide variety of tasks from small and personal parties, to some of the biggest events we have currently been involved in, (naming no names). To those that will be no more we say goodbye and thank you for the opportunity to work with you. To the new events we say a big hello and hope to help you with your entertainment in this bright new 2015.
To all our customers we would like to say a big thank you, for using Battlefield South. We trust you have had a great and fun time and been satisfied with the service. We also hope you will remember to call us again when you require a little exercise with lots of fun and entertainment.
Farewell to those staff who have moved on. We wish each one of you nothing but the best for the future. Thank you for your help during your time with us, we hope you enjoyed your time and we were able to broaden your mind, if not your muscles.
However it is now time to say a big hello to 2015 and wish you all a very happy New Year, were ever you are around the world.
Happy New Year!

The summer season is over

Well the summer season has finally come to an end and the team are looking forward to a short break from county shows, themed shows, fetes, extravaganzas, fayres, and alike. Not that we will be sitting around with nothing to do, as there are still corporate events, and private parties to cover. So if you are thinking of a birthday, stag or Hen party, a corporate training day or just a fun day for your staff, remember to book early and avoid disappointment.
Getting back to the news, we have had a very busy summer this year with trips to The Army Show in Aldershot, Heroes at Highclere Castle, and events closer to home QE country park, Titchfield, Eastleigh, and Hiltingbury. With this we have seen some old staff move on and new staff come in. As such we would like to say a big “Well Done and Thank You to Sam, and Joe”. Thank you for your hard work over the last couple of years, and we wish you the very best with college / University and for the future.
Additionally we would like to say a big welcome to Seb, George and Callum. They all joined us over the last couple of months, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us so far, although I know some of the early morning have been a pain. That said the H&K MP5’s, MP5K, G36, AR 15, and AK47 where good fun while we had them on loan.
So here we are in October, having a short rest bite and soon we will be working on our list for next summer events, and then processing them to ensure we will be at a show near you.
For details of our attendance at events throughout the summer either check back here on a regular basis, or like and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
