The Surrey Heath Show

Well the Easter Bank holiday week end is over, and we hope you had a great break, (without too much chocolate). 
We had a great time running parties, private events, and working hard to organise our attendance at some public events. So where are we going to be?
Well firstly we are going to be at the Surrey Heath Show, on 3rd of May. This is being held at the Frimley Lodge Park, between 10 am and 4pm. For those who don’t know the event, there will be lots of displays, stalls, Classic Cars, Bouncy castles, roundabout, and of course this year Battlefield South. Entrance to the event is free however there is a £3 parking charge. So come along and join Spike and us and have a great day out.

Getting back up to speed

It has to be said that we have been more than a little remiss with our posts and updates over the last couple of month. However that is not to say that we haven’t been working very hard and will soon be publishing some dates for our latest outing to public shows and events. So what have we got lined up? I hear you ask. Well April does have some space left, however, May is looking very busy indeed with regards to shows. So starting with 3rd May, we will be at the Surrey Heath show, Frimley Park Lodge. The 5th may we will be attending the St Mary’s Church community fair, and on the weekend of the 17th and 18th May we will be at the Portsmouth Festival / Dragon Boat Race which is being held at Lakelands, North harbour Portsmouth. Well, here we are fast approaching the end of January 2014, with what has so far been a hectic month and what looks to be a massive year in front of us. We are just sorry we can’t let you in on all our little secrets, well not just yet anyway. What we can say is that there looks to be lots of events for you to come and play. 
Also we have tried to keep dates clear for Birthdays and other parties. But we can’t keep them clear for long so if you are thinking about it, drop us a line or give us a call sooner rather than later. That way we can earmark the date for you. If you want to know what is coming up on the public side, either check up on us here on the blog or follow us of Facebook, where every public event is advertised.
For those of you who have sent emails and made calls with regards to the operation of the website over the last week, a big Thank You. As it happens, we were aware of the issues, which were generally caused by us and our support company. We were working hard to prepare the site for an upgrade at our current host. Unfortunately due to time scales, everything had to be done at very short notice which is why the some of the work and testing was carried out during normally high browsing times. So apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
In addition to this we are also having a revamped to the look of the website shop. We already have a new shop landing page, and hope to add a some product pages and category menu options on the site. Just keep that under your hat.

Christmas Closure

Battlefield South will not be operating over the festive period (23rd December 2013 to 2nd January 2014). However we will be providing minimal staffing. So if you have an enquiry with regards to a booking, please Email , or phone and leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If you wish to place an order via the shop please do so and we will get the item(s) picked and dispatched as soon as possible.

Team Up Date

Hi All,
As we are now in our quiet period, we are busy carrying out our annual maintenance of all your equipment ready for what we hope will be another great year of fun. So a big thank you to everyone who supported us this year and we hope you enjoyed the games and events, and that we will see you all again next year.
If you are worried about missing a birthday or getting the date you want, drop us an email or give us a call, as the diary is open, and like last year, days are going fast.
Don’t forget the shop for any Christmas items, or stocking fillers. Our last day for posting items will be the 16th December this year, however if you are local you can always pop round to collect your items, or we could deliver (if you ask nicely).
