Hi All,
Just a quick note to let you know that the last order dates for guarantied delivery prior to the Christmas and new year break is 20 December 2014. You can still order through our website shop through out this period. However we can not guarantee the delivery. Hey it is Christmas, and reluctantly we do have to allow our staff one day off a year!

Black Friday at Battlefield South

December is nearly on us and today is what the Americans (and now UK retailers) call “Black Friday”. This is the day before Christmas that retailers attempt to attract large amounts of sales by offering massive and exclusive discounts. Because of this, we at Battlefield South would like to do the same. However as our prices are low all year round this isn’t something we can offer. So if there is something you are looking for, don’t just look at our site on “Black Friday” visit us any time of year for a great bargain, (even some of the escalators are marked down! Ho Ho Ho!). Also remember just because you can’t see what you are looking for on the web site, 
doesn’t mean we haven’t got it or can’t get it. In which case why not drop us an Email Us! or give us a call, on 01489 885886
Holding a party over the festive period? Remember we don’t just sell Army themed party items. We have age and anniversary related products, as well as themed items for boys and girls of all ages.
We also have seasonal items, 
Including plates, paper cups, plastic drinking vessels, (Wine, beer, champagne) napkins, and cake decorations. 
As well as Banners, packs of balloons, balloon weights, and table decorations.

October has moved on and November is upon us, with its damp and cold weather. But don’t feel down as we are working hard on next year’s events. Also we still have some dates available for private parties and corporate days for this year. So if you are looking for some fun why not get together with some friends and book us for a couple of hours Fun. Don’t forget we can also set up in doors, so if you want a side event for your works Christmas party, why not give us a call and check our availability.

The summer season is over

Well the summer season has finally come to an end and the team are looking forward to a short break from county shows, themed shows, fetes, extravaganzas, fayres, and alike. Not that we will be sitting around with nothing to do, as there are still corporate events, and private parties to cover. So if you are thinking of a birthday, stag or Hen party, a corporate training day or just a fun day for your staff, remember to book early and avoid disappointment.
Getting back to the news, we have had a very busy summer this year with trips to The Army Show in Aldershot, Heroes at Highclere Castle, and events closer to home QE country park, Titchfield, Eastleigh, and Hiltingbury. With this we have seen some old staff move on and new staff come in. 
As such we would like to say a big “Well Done and Thank You to Sam, and Joe”. Thank you for your hard work over the last couple of years, and we wish you the very best with college / University and for the future.
Additionally we would like to say a big welcome to Seb, George and Callum. They all joined us over the last couple of months, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us so far, although I know some of the early morning have been a pain. That said the H&K MP5’s, MP5K, G36, AR 15, and AK47 where good fun while we had them on loan.
So here we are in October, having a short rest bite and
soon we will be working on our list for next summer events, and then processing them to ensure we will be at a show near you.

The season is coming to an end

The summer season is almost at an end and with that the end of summer shows, festivals, carnivals and events. That is not to say we won’t still be covering corporate events and private parties, however our summer of fun is almost at an end. But before that here are a couple of dates for you, (unless you have an event you would like us to attend).
Firstly if you are a member (or even if you are not) the Royal British Legion Riders Branch are holding a “Bunny Bash” this coming week end at BOSC, Bolley Avenue , Bordon Hampshire , GU35 9HG. This is a camping event on Friday 12, with festival and carnival type entertainment on Saturday 13 (With Battlefield South in attendance of course). Entertainment starts at about 10 am and goes on until late, with the opportunity to stay (camping) over night again and departing on Sunday 14. Unfortunately due to other commitments Battlefield South will only be there on the Saturday. Entrance and camping (we are lead to believe ) are free, and proceeds from the event going to the branch fund and the RBL.
Then on Sunday 14 September we have an event a little closer
to home at the Hiltingbury Extravaganza , near chandlers Ford. The event is taking place on Hiltingbury Recreation ground, Hiltingbury Road, Chandlers’s Ford SO53 5NP. And is to be a mass of stalls, rides, Music, all the fun of the fair, and of course Battlefield South. With everything starting at 12:00 and ending at 17:00 (ish). This is the biggest extravaganza yet so if you have been before this will be better, and if you haven’t, it is not to be missed.

Lastly for your diaries is the Eastleigh Mardi Gras. Bring held on 20 September 2014 and running from 10 am to dusk on and around the Band stand in the town centre. There is a parade, a fun fair, arts and craft stalls, face painting, Live music and of course 
Battlefield South, ( other events are available).
