There is only a week to go before the Midlands Air Festival, and it is looking to be massive!
Being held at Ragley Hall, Alcester, B49 5NJ,The weekend kicks off on Friday night (18th May) with a pyrotechnics
flying display, followed by a Balloon night glow to music. Then to cap it off there will be a fireworks display.
Saturday and Sunday mornings start early at 6 am, for the Balloon lifts and VIP / Gold Pass breakfast with both flying and tethered Balloons. These will include the Aston Martin, Angry birds, Mr Peanut, The Piper, and many more. Then there will be an air display in the afternoon, including WW1 fighters, WW2 P51 Mustang, Hurricane, Messerschmit BF109 and a Spitfire, as well as a Strikemaster, Vampire, and much more. But not forgetting Peter Davis in his Gyro Copter who is one of our favourites as he always gives us a wave!
The best part of the whole event is that all the battlefield South games are covered in the price of your ticket. You will have to go to the back of the queue at the end of your game but if you want to play again, that’s fine, there is still no extra cost.
You should note that access to the event is by
prior ticket purchase only and there will be no ticket sales on the day. If you would like to purchase tickets Click here. Remember to request a car pass for the day you are attending. It is free, but is required for access to the estate. Ragley Hall will be open to visitors throughout the weekend for a small extra charge.
