Our Aim  and Equipment

At Battlefield South our aim is to promote communication skills, team work, leadership and physical exercise whilst having fun, via a safe and non contact projectile, “Military simulation” environment, (similar to Paintball and Airsoft, but without the pain, mess, extra cost and safety issues).

We specialize in military simulation (Mil Sim) Laser Tag games, which are suitable for corporate events, parties and as a show attractions for the whole family. As there are no solid projectiles it is ideal for corporate days.  The weapons we typically  use are replica FN P90s and H & K MP7s,  which help to provide some realism, and are built with high tech, eye safe, ”lasers” have red dot sights fitted to aid aiming and utilize the “Battle Storm Advanced and CQB, (Close Quarter Battle)” computer software.

This software similar to the old M.I.L.E.S and new TES military system offers second by second scoring and hit notification enabling us to provide fun events for parties, shows, fetes and fayres, as well as training opportunities for corporate and club team building, while following our aims, through our military simulation scenarios.

We primarily cover the Hampshire and South Coast area, and have several locations of operation in the Portsmouth, Southampton, and Winchester area. This means we can match our locations to you and your requirements for suitability. Alternatively and if suitable, we can always come to your location as we are fully mobile . We are able to set up both indoors (for example a School gym, class room, church hall), or outdoors in reasonable size garden, woodlands, an open field or even a car park. As such we are the ideal fun event, for parties, school or church fetes, or corporate and club team building activity.

All our staff are CRB checked where necessary and each event is covered for first aid.

What kind of events do we Run?

We are available for all kinds of events, from Corporate and Club team building and training, to Birthday parties, Stag and Hen nights, and cover the ages of  8 to 80. We also attend School and Church Fetes, and public shows and events as an attraction, as well as staging our own walk up events and as a just for fun activity.

We are able to run either indoor or outdoors events, which makes this a great alternative to paintball or air soft, as there is no mess, no pain and has less of an age restriction, (as stated we cater for all kids ages 8 to 80).

What about if it rains?

Weather is not a problem for us although rain can make it uncomfortable for players and staff alike. However with over 40 years of military experience (including arctic and tropical conditions) to draw from if you can “hack it” so can we, (take a look at the photo gallery  for games played in the snow).

What can we do in our event?

As part of your event we can offer lot of different scenarios or game formats from last man standing (both team and individual) To defend and attack a position, hostage rescue, protection of the boss (or not) and advance to contact.
